In part 1 of this article in Volume 7 Stuart reviewed requirements for a good phono preamp, discussed parts selection and proposed a sophisticated circuit concept for a phono preamp using tubes, JFETs, BJTs and MOSFETs.  In part 2 he finalizes the circuitry, discussed parts matching requirements, and presents suitable power supply circuits for the B+, the tube heaters and the B- bias supply. Measurements for the prototype show very high performance. A PCB holding one channel with power supply regulators completes this project.
